I look after the traffic situation at the terminal and ensure that all ground traffic is in control while the air traffic is handled with precision and care.
I have been awarded for my long service and during my service I have kept myself up to date with the changing communication technology and airport regulations.

Air traffic Controller April 2003 to January 2009 5 years & 10 months

Responsible for handling all the ground and air traffic at the airport. I maintained the schedule by communicating with the landing and takeoff aircraft and gave permission to land when the airport runway was ready.
I ensured that all ground traffic was at halt while the aircraft take off or landing was due. I communicated with the pilots of landing planes and in case there was any news that had to be shared regarding the weather or landing conditions, it was relayed clearly.

Leeds Bradford Airport

Air traffic Controller-Tower January 1998 to March 2003 5 years & 3 months

Responsible for controlling the traffic at the airport runway. I controlled the luggage trolleys, airport worker trucks. All ground traffic was maintained through the communication system while I monitored the runways from the tower.
It was my duty to look at the flight schedules daily and keep them at hand so that I could reach the right aircraft and monitor its movement. I was responsible for communicating the weather condition and landing vacancy at the airport to the pilot.
