Responsible for helping students with their subject choices and in case a student wants to change their subject choice, I discussed options and possible career choices.

Holding regular talks with individuals and mixed groups to understand their goals while imparting wisdom upon how to lead social and personal lives and achieve academic goals. It was my duty to keep a check on their academic reports and discuss with them in case of any irregularity.
One special assignment that was taken up by me was to relax the racial discrimination that was occurring for years in the academy. I tried to help students understand how to give space to others and accept their differences. Racial discrimination had become a part of the Texan society and I tried to eliminate it from the school.

Responsible for holding regular meetings with the sophomore, junior and senior classes. I used to assess reports and maintain personal files.
Handing out college applications and helping students fill them and decide subjects was also my duty.
