Responsible for administering medication and lab tests. I look after the patient and try to pacify them.
I keep a check on the vitals of the patient, along with the contractions timing. Other than the labor room duty, I also assist the doctor's clinical appointments. Patient ultrasounds and handling records is my duty. I keep a check on the regular patients and maintain a good rapport with them.
My duties include giving patients some basic knowledge about identifying their issues and dealing with sudden situations like water breaking and contractions.

Responsible for coaching pregnant women during the period to understand how to take care of themselves, and the baby. I was also responsible for helping patients during contractions. Time of dilation and intensity of dilations were recorded by me.
I was in charge of the ward on alternate days and in case of any emergency or delivery procedure that day, I assisted the doctors. It was my duty to educate the family and new mother about handling the infant.

Responsible for recieving patients in the labor room and taking their vitals like heartbeat and blood pressure. I was also responsible for seeing the contraction strength and intervals in order to inform the doctor.
I was in charge of accommodating all patients and keeping a vigilant check on all of them. The preparations for surgery or delivery were also looked over by me.
