Same time I have worked on SGCC Upgrade Project. Project target is to install mixed feed (Naphta and Ethane) Cracker Unit, 285 kTA bimodal Polyethylene plant and 100 kTA Polypropylene Plant.
Key responsibilities were:
To develop Scope of Work for Licensor PDP (Process Design Package) and for FEED phase
To assist project team members with experience gained from previous projects
To attend on negotiation meetings with Contractor(s), Licensor(s) and to manage them on delivery consistent PDP and FEED packages in time
To review Licensor PDP, FEED deliverables (including datasheets, technical specifications for instrumentation), and to attend various design review meetings.

JV Uzbekistan GTL LLC (later branded as OLTIN YO’L GTL) was established jointly by Uzbekneftegaz NHC, Sasol and PETRONAS for implementation of the Project of synthetic liquid fuels production based on the purified methane of Shurtan GCC
Key responsibiliites were:
Develop Scope of Work for FEED Contractor, Main Automation Contractor and EPC Contractor;
Develop Project specifications on Control&Instrumentation, Telecommunication, Overall control system architectures and Telecom block diagrams for Project;
Assist the Lead Engineer to coordinate the Instrument & Control (I&C) designs and I&C-related interfaces between the various engineering disciplines, JV Operations Specialist, JV Process Specialists/Consultants, HSE Specialist, Package Manager, Local Regulatory, etc by ensuring that the I&C design intent and design basis is clearly defined and adhered to by all parties. Solicit external expert advice, if required;
Provide technical expertise in review, respond, comment and approve, as necessary, I&C design clarification, datasheets, calculations, drawings, specification and other design documentation prepared by Consultant, Contractor and Licensors for compliance to project requirements as well as for optimal design and technology implementation
Ensure all Consultant, Contractor and Licensors I&C engineering work are implemented and completed in accordance with the scope, schedule and other contract requirements with quality of high standard and integrity;
Ensure engineering design safety, operability and maintainability by contributing in I&C review i.e. SIL Review, etc and participating in other structured design review exercises such as Process Flow Diagram (PFD) and Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs), Cause and Effect reviews, Model review, Hazards and Operability (HAZOP) studies, etc. Follow-up and ensure that the I&C study/review results and recommendations are properly incorporated into detailed engineering designs or design revisions.
Manage Engineering Contractor for FEED phase (Technip Italy), Main Automation Contractor (Honeywell, Milan and Seoul) and EPC Contractor (Hyundai Engineering and Construction, Korea) at their premises respectively
Take part on technical and commercial bid evaluations of MAC, EPC, Licensor and Instrument Vendor proposals

Promoted to be Senior PLC Engineer.
Key responsibiliites were to manage shift PLC Engineers, to resolve outstanding problems, to make maintenance schedules, to upgrade PLC's and Operator Workstations and etc,
Moved from Operations to Engineering team - support other disciplines, work with Process Licensor, perform Factory Acceptance Tests at Vendor shops

Promoted to the PLC Engineer. I was responsible for correct functioning of all PLC's, such as Siemens, ABB, Allen-Bradley, Woodward and etc (other than DCS and ESD) throughout the Plant on my shift
Have found a number of incorrectly implemented logics in Package Unit control systems and corrected them with MOC procedures.

Had begun working life at SGCC in position of Instrumentation Technician. It was very useful time for me to be part of Commissioning team to do Site Acceptance Tests, to commisssion and startup Ethylene and Polyethylene plants with EPC's.
Was team member from Owner side for Plant Handover from EPC to Owner.
