I check all goods and then stamp the approval slip. Once the vessel leaves port, I get off duty but as long as the goods are there, I am in charge of them.

Responsible for packing all booked items in a safe and secure manner. I had to carefully load each carton and check that the inventory is complete.
I had to recieve the container and sign the duty slip. As soon as the port staff cleared the container, it was my duty to check that all recieved items were complete and in good condition.
