I am responsible for the weekly farmer's meeting and set up of the market stalls.
Farmers of surrounding filds participate in the market with their produce that is available for buyers from all over the area.
I look after the monthly profits and meet with other members of the market to decide how to utilize the profits on improving produce for everyone.

Started work on the family farm at the age of 14. I was responsible for assisting the farmers on duty. I started work by watering the fields. This required long hours and dedication.
I also learned the techniques of seed plantation and ploughing. Repair workof pipes and tubewell were also learned at the farm.
I was responsible for some daily chores like spraying pesticides before cropping.
Over the years I learned a lot about the water sprinklers and gradually introduced newer methods to increase yield.
I was in charge of the crop fertilizer treatment and also assisted the cultivation and selection of vegetables for supply.
It was my duty to learn new technologies by attending farmer lessons given by the government's agriculture department.
